QB Online Plus or Advanced uses "Projects" which is a unique feature for general contractors who want to track all project estimates, income, and expenses in one place. It also automatically calculates profit margins to help keep the job on track. You may need to go to "Settings" to allow project tracking, depending on your version of QBO. Projects are tracked under Customer Names, similar to a sub-job. If you already have a job set up under a customer name, you can import the job into Projects from the Projects tab.
